High tourist demand for Costa del Sol
The Costa del Sol still holds the major share of foreign market for holiday homes and property

According to the Tourist Residential Market report for the Costa del Sol, issued by Aguirre Newman, 70% of the tourist demand comes from foreigners and 30% from national citizens.

The natural tourist demand markets for the Costa del Sol, as Great Britain and Germany have always constituted the major share of the market for foreign demand for holiday homes and are now being strengthened by the emerging markets of central European and Nordic countries which are growing in significance.

The Costa del Sol is still the most sought area by foreigners followed by upcoming areas as Costa Blanca, Costa Cálida and Costa de la Luz where prices are more affordable.
