Residential tourism investment continues its growth
High increase on the residential tourism in Spain

According to a study elaborated by Group I for the real estate promoters Life in Spain, in 2005 the benefit reached 25.000 million euros and will surpass the number of 41.000 million euros in 2010, this means a 60% of growth.

Residential property investment represents the 20% of the tourist benefits, an average that is surpassed in Costa del Sol. In this sense, the president of Life in Spain, Manuel Gandarias emphasized the paper of the City council of Malaga "that is sensible to this subject" and recognized that there are countries that compete, like Morocco or Croatia, "although they still have twenty years" to reach the development and infrastructure of the Costa del Sol. He also explained that because of the hotel, residential and golfing business, Costa del Sol is of the most stables tourism aims in Spain.
