The growth of Senior Resorts will experience an important growth in the next five years, from 7 resorts opened in February this year to 20 that will be opened at the end of 2010.
Costa del Sol will continue being the preferred area to locate Senior Resorts, mainly in the province of Málaga. Real estate property for senior citizens will pass from 1.052 properties to 6.203 in total.
Several Spanish property developers have included in there offer the possibility of buying special adapted apartments or villas for senior citizens within their golf resorts. Services as 24 hour medical assistance and International Health Centres are included in these resorts.
